We process registration details, account identifiers, profile information, uploaded media, captions, clip metadata, votes, qualified-view and skip events, reports, moderation history, security logs, and configuration records needed to run ITake5.

Uploaded media

Original uploads are private and are validated and transformed into short playback files and poster images. Originals are deleted after successful processing by default, unless the administrator enables retention. Approved processed clips and their posters are publicly displayed. Rejected, failed, pending, or removed clips are not returned by the public feed.

Safety and abuse prevention

We use random first-party identifiers and one-way hashes to limit repeated views, skips, votes, and reports. Reports may include an account ID, hashed identifier, reason, details, trust score, timestamps, and resolution history. We do not need to display a reporter’s identity to a creator.

Providers and retention

Hosting, email, identity, backup, and content-processing providers may process data for us. Retention depends on account, safety, legal, operational, and dispute needs. You may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, though safety and audit records may be retained when lawfully required.
